These terms set out the basis on which LocksmithLocal Ltd provides locksmith services and on which you may use locksmithlocal.co.uk. Please read them carefully.

About us and these terms
This website and our services are provided by LocksmithLocal Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 00000000), registered office [Registered office address]. These terms apply to the locksmith services we provide and to your use of this website. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our services
We provide emergency and scheduled locksmith services through a network of vetted, locally based locksmiths. When you contact us, our office team takes your details and arranges for the appropriate local locksmith to attend. We will always confirm a price with you before any chargeable work begins.
Quotes and pricing
- There is no call-out fee.
- We agree a price with you before work starts. That price is fixed for the work described; if, once on site, additional work is needed, we will explain it and agree any further cost with you before continuing.
- Payment is due on completion of the work, by the methods we accept (including major credit and debit cards).
- Where VAT applies, it will be included or stated in your quote.
Response times
We aim to reach emergencies within around 60 minutes, but this cannot be guaranteed as it depends on traffic, weather, time of day and demand. If we expect a delay, we will let you know.
Proof of identity and entitlement
For lockouts, entry and lock-related work, you must be able to satisfy us that you are entitled to request the work — for example, that you own the property or are a lawful occupier. We may ask for identification or other reasonable proof, and we may decline to carry out work if we are not reasonably satisfied that you are entitled to it.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information, to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, and to make us aware of anything that may affect the work or the safety of our locksmith.
Cancellation
Where you are a consumer, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you would like emergency or urgent work to begin within that cancellation period, you can ask us to start straight away; if you then cancel, you agree to pay for the work already carried out. To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.
Guarantee and workmanship
We take pride in our work. Parts we fit are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, and our workmanship is covered by a 90-day guarantee. If something is not right with work we have carried out, contact us and we will put it right in line with these terms and your statutory rights.
Liability
We carry insurance appropriate to our work. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for pre-existing faults, or for matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
